Two weeks ago, I was in sunny warm TEXAS visiting my sister and her family. I drove down with my dad to deliver a train table he'd built for my nephews. My mom was already down there helping with the new baby. Dad and I drove all the way to Houston in one shot. LONG trip, but worth it. I had never really had the opportunity to enjoy Kristy's kids without worrying about taking care of my own, and it was fun to get to know them a little better. It was also wonderful to cuddle little Levi. :) Our Houston activities included visiting downtown Houston and seeing where Drew works (and some other cool buildings), eating at a couple of restaurants they really like, visiting Houston's First Baptist Church (which was HUGE, but the people didn't make you feel that way), and shopping (and finding a parking place!) at the Galleria Mall. Mom, Dad and I left Monday and stopped at my Uncle Chuck's house south of Dallas and spent a little time with him and my cousin Chaun. We left there early Tuesday morning, and I made it home in time to pick up the boys when they were done with their Peter Pan rehearsal. Back to the routine!
