The Law for MY side of the room

I found this on the floor in the girls' room today. I've been thinking about starting a blog, and this is what finally pushed me to it. I'll copy it exactly as written, so picture this on lined school paper, written in pencil and traced over in bold red marker:

The Law for My side of the room
1. NO saying ya'll.
2. ALWAYS ask if you can touch my stuff.
3. YOU CAN hold my American Girl Doll if you ask.
4. YOU MAY read my books, you have my permission.
5. IF I say yes you may dress Samantha my doll.
6. NO borrowing my library books.
7. If our room is messy feel free to pick up.
8. No boys allowed exept for Dad, something to remind you is, BOYS ARE BAD EXEPT FOR
DAD!

How funny is that? I laughed again as I was typing. S loves to write, and I love her creativity! This reminded me of when B was learning to write; I would get notes that said, "Mom is nice. I love her." G (my husband) would get notes that said, "Dad is mean. He can't come in my room." or something like that when she got in trouble. He has also received some very nice notes.
