There are 8 children sleeping in my house tonight. We are taking care of the neighbor's 2-year-old for the weekend, and Britta and Sammy both asked to invite friends over (1 for Britta, 2 for Sammy). They came over after supper and will be leaving before lunch tomorrow, so I figure it can't be too bad. I had to give the youngest 3 baths before bed after they played in our dirtbox, then the older girls got ready for bed and watched a movie. They quieted down about an hour after going to bed, which is where I should be, because they'll probably all be up early tomorrow and wanting breakfast! The 2-year-old was such a sweetie, just laid right down in the pack and play, and I haven't heard another thing from her. My boys even went right to sleep, but they didn't take naps today. Sammy was so sweet to want to invite the younger sister (by 1 year) of her friend. She knows what it's like to be the little sister! All of the girls got along really well tonight.
One of my sister-in-laws started a blog--check it out! Now I only have one more to work on. :) One of these days I'll put up links to the wonderful people I keep up with through blog world.
