Bananas and Buffalos

OK, we just got home from family camp, and I have some good pictures from our great week there, but first I have to share this story.

You might have seen on the news that a semi with a load full of bananas hit a buffalo in Buchanan County last week, causing the truck to tip over and the bananas to spill out onto the highway. Glen did not work the accident, but he was at the office when a reporter called to ask a few questions. She asked him if anyone knew who the buffalo belonged to, because after all, they don't just roam. . . . Glen said, "Well, in the song, they do." :)

She laughed and asked if she could quote him on that. As far as I know, she didn't. Maybe it sounded too made-up (it's not).

But we got some free bananas.
