Lucky they're cute!

The boys are not supposed to come out of their room until 7:00 am. They have a digital clock in their room, and both of them know what a seven looks like. Occasionally, one or both will come to my room earlier for some reason, and I'll take care of what they need and send them back to bed. Tate's pullup had leaked a few days ago, so I got him changed into dry clothes (underwear this time since it was almost time to wake up). When I went back (after 7 of course) to get them out of their room, this is how I found the closet:

They had taken everything hanging in the closet and had thrown it on the floor. The lower shelf looked slightly bent as if someone had been standing on it. Tate told me before I noticed it, that "when I was in the closet, I peed my pants so there's pee on the blue thing." I asked him if he was standing on the lower shelf when he peed--tell me the truth! He answered, "No, I was up THERE!" (pointing to the highest shelf). Needless to say, they both were disciplined, but not until after I had picked up and hung everything back myself--I needed the time to cool down a bit! Praise God they weren't hurt.

Regarding my comment about the hole in the wall in my last post--Glen patched it a few days ago! When I saw him working on it, I said, "Did you read my blog?" He told me he did, but that it had been on his list to fix before that. :) He also added that there has always been a doorstop on the door; the kids just pushed it hard into the wall. I am so thankful for him!

Britta will be making her theatrical debut early next year. Cono is going to put on the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and she will be Benjamin! She is very excited. They've had their first practices this past week, and she's been listening to the soundtrack every chance she gets. Tate and Chase are going to be a sheep and a goat. Sammy has already asked if we can go see it both nights. :)
