Britta's recital

Britta's last(?) violin recital was May 13. I never got the video up from the recital at Cono, but she played the same songs here. I thought she did very well!

She may quit violin and take another instrument next year. She's definitely going to have voice lessons and would prefer not to work on an instrument, but Glen and I decided that's not an option. Now is the time when she has TIME to practice a skill that she can use for the rest of her life. I think Glen would prefer that she switch to piano and take her lessons at Cono, but I'm rooting for violin. She has a great ear. A previous teacher told me she knows enough to be able to pick it up again later. We'll see!

OK, I have tried ALL DAY to upload this video, and I get an error every time. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I'm giving up for now. Take my word for it, Britta is a good violinist, and maybe I'll get her to play a shorter song sometime this summer.
