Successful bedtime, at least for tonight!
Glen has been home the last 3 nights, and of course, bedtime went perfectly! Back to work for him tonight, and the boys were not fun while getting them ready for bed. But after we prayed, we sang a little bit as we've sometimes been doing recently. The boys seem to like it. We sing songs from Steve Green's Hide 'Em in Your Heart and one from Psalty. Of course, children obey your parents is always first. :) Then the fruit of the spirit, and John 3:16 from Psalty's Praise Party. Tate is learning the words, but it'll take a while for the tune. Chase chimes in with encouragement. Tonight after singing about the fruit of the spirit, we talked about peace, and how if they are letting God's Holy Spirit work in their hearts, they will be peaceful--not whining, crying, etc. We also discussed how if they didn't get sleep, they might be crabby tomorrow afternoon at Sage's birthday party and have to sit in the truck. :) I explained that I need to get plenty of sleep too, but I have some work to get done first, which wouldn't get done very quickly if they disobey after I leave, and then I would be crabby. Chase was concerned that I wouldn't want to sit in the truck either! I asked them who was more fun--happy Mommy or crabby Mommy, and they picked Happy Mommy. After I left the room, Chase came out only once! Additionally, I had asked the girls to clean up their room and the living room while I was tucking the boys in, and they cleaned up the breakfast room and bathroom also!

What a small world! Your swimmer friend is my friend too and we know her brother Javan, which is where we got the name. We just spelled it differently to avoid those that would want to call him Javaughn. I'm looking forward to catching up more with you in this blog world!
too funny! I think Addie likes Happy Mommy better too, I should ask her! :)
Any more mishaps with full rolls of toilet paper being flushed down the toilet and water filling your light shades?
