See Kristy, he DID smile at his birthday party! By the way, the squirt guns were a huge hit. We had to make a rule, no squirting in the house. To me, it seems obvious. To my kids, not so much.Glen's aunt and uncle, as well as a cousin and his family, also live in the Twin Cities area, so we visited them the day after Sage's party. Another cousin and her family were visiting from Colorado, so it was fun to visit with them. Did I get pictures of the family we rarely see? Well, I let Britta take the camera for a while, and I got:
this one of Sammy . . .
. . and this one of Leighton.
Britta (notice her pink cast) with her friend Katie and counselors Peggy and Liz at EIBC 5th grade camp.
Tate is always happy when he gets to drive. (Or pretend to!) So does Chase, so there was one screaming incident while the boat was stopped . . .
Isn't he cute? We actually did pull him behind the boat, and he just sat there with no expression. The conversation after we stopped:
Britta was able to get the pig-poopy pink cast taken off a week early and got her short cast--in green, which was her first choice last time. She's happy to be able to bend her elbow and scratch a little bit. :) Glen wanted to go to the lake again, but Tate really shouldn't be in it yet, and Britta would have been very uncomfortable with a plastic cover on her cast in the heat, so I convinced him to go to the Science Station instead. They didn't have a lot new since the last time we went, but the kids still spent a happy couple of hours before it was time to go home.

"Yeah."
"Do you want to go again?"
"No."

"Yeah."

Beautiful kids Mindy! I know you enjoy the craziness........
Nanny Criddle:)
Science Station photos are great! I remember going there all the time with Cono when I was little but I know they've updated a bunch since then.
The pink poopy cast story is hilarious! :)
Love reading about your IA craziness!!!
Mindy -
You are doing something right. The kids are so so good. I couldn't believe the extent to which Britta and Sammy helped Lucy and wanted her to have a "good time" at your house.
I have followed your idea and have cut down my blogs to about 10. :) OF course yours is on my reading list! :)
I have a feeling Asher is going to be like Chase and Tate - ALL boy!
