For our vacation, we went to Adventureland for two days. The kids had a blast. Glen and I enjoyed watching them have a blast. We stayed in the Adventureland campground, which made it really easy to walk back for lunch. We did not even try to make the boys take naps. :) On the first day, Glen went on two spinny rides in a row (for those of you familiar with Adventureland--Der Flinger (?) and the Balloon Race) and was almost GRAY when he got off of the second one. We were both careful of what we went on. Britta and Tate could go on pretty much anything and not feel sick; Sammy could do better than Glen and I, but she had to space out her rides. The weather was beautiful--clear and not too hot. We went on the Raging River twice in a row--we could all go together, and I think that was my favorite because of it. It was fun to watch the kids' faces when one would get wet. When I went on one ride (the Inverter) with Britta and Sammy, Britta was saying, "This is so FUN!" while Sammy was repeating, "I'm never going on this ride again!" As the ride came to a stop, she said, "Well, maybe I could go on it again!" And she did. :)Our four wonderful children before entering the park on the second day:

Did I mention that it was also Glen's and my 14th wedding anniversary? Congratulations to us! It doesn't seem like it should be that long. I made sure to bring along a card; when I gave it to Glen, he said, "Oh, I was supposed to give you a card?" Oh well. :) It's my turn to plan our celebration this year. I'm still working on it.
Chase gave the mascot a whole-hearted hug. This is actually the second time, since I didn't get the camera out fast enough the first time. He did it just the same.

All of the kids liked the carousel.

I also remember LOVING to ride these airplanes.
This is the attendant asking Tate to PLEASE lower his airplane at the end of the ride. :)
Aren't they adorable? This was our last ride (on the train) before leaving the park for good and riding Molly the Trolley back to the campground. We didn't take the double stroller (we should have), and Tate ended up riding in the single stroller we did bring more than Chase did. I thought Tate, being five, would feel too old. He didn't; he was just tired.

hey I remember your wedding - wait I only got there for the kiss which was great. You should never take times from Eric!
The last time we went to Adventureland (probably last summer), Joe and I rode that balloon ride near the end of the day. Looks so harmless! Ugh. It was AWFUL for both of us.
I share your memories of the ladybugs and airplanes. :)
